For All Seasons Packing is looking for people who want to work in Holland for Van Bergen Personeelsdiensten bv. This Dutch company offers work in horticulture. Work consists in packing and repacking tomatoes (Redstar), packing and repacking flower bulbs (Vanderschoot), arranging flower bouquets (Franken), working with potted flowers, orchids, gerberas, etc.

As of 1 July the minimum remuneration for people aged 23 and older in Holland is € 8,35 / € 8.79 per hour. For people younger than 23, the following table including a list of gross remuneration per hour has been prepared:

If you work for Redstar, Vanderschoot and Franken, the rate for overtime is always equal to 130% of your gross remuneration. This rate also refers to working hours on Saturday and Sunday.

If you work for other companies in horticulture, the rate for overtime is 135% of gross remuneration per hour, 150% of gross remuneration per working hour on Saturday and 200% of gross remuneration for work on Sunday.

Overtime shall be calculated and settled for the whole stay in Holland.

We arrange accommodation in Holland. You will share a house with other people. The cost of such accommodation is EUR 65.00 per week. The amount shall be deducted from your salary every week. There are some exceptions as follows:

Hoek van Holland Rietdijkstraat 70 where the accommodation shall cost EUR 70

Rotterdam Watergeusstraat 45 C/D/E/F where the accommodation shall cost EUR 75

Please take a sleeping bag and a pillow with you.

In Holland everyone has to have health insurance. Van Bergen Personeelsdiensten will arrange this for you. The cost of this insurance is € 22.50 per week and it will also be deducted from your net remuneration on a weekly basis.The name of the insurance is Hollandzorg.

From January 2010 the weekly salary statement (salaries) shall be sent to your email.

Persons who have no e-mail address may ask the office to print the statement for them.

From January 2010 there will be also a possibility to buy Internet access to each house for € 12.50 per week, payable at the office where you will be provided with the data necessary to activate Internet.

The reimbursement for extraterritorial expenses shall enter into force in January 2010. People earning a minimum of gross EUR 8.70 will be entitled to the reimbursement.

This refers also to a double residency. People interested in such compensation must report it to the office in Poland where they will be provided with any necessary information.

You need to have a bank account in Poland before you go to Holland. Remuneration will be paid to a bank account only. DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE A BANK CARD WITH YOU in order to be able to get money out of cash machines.

It is important for you to provide us with information concerning your diplomas and certificates. Please take them with you to have them registered, or - if you have already done it - to submit them once again to have them scanned. Your work record in Poland and abroad is also important. Please hand it in during your registration. Make sure to be always available and provide us with your e-mail address.

You will sign a contract with For All Seasons Packing; it will contain information about your work for Van Bergen Personeelsdiensten for a definite period of time and about your minimum remuneration. When you arrive in Holland, you will work for BergPak or AUB and you will sign a contract containing information about your employer and about the binding principles to be followed by the employer and the employee.

If you work for AUB, after 26 weeks you will obtain the right to start to accumulate pension benefits. In Holland this is done in STIP. After half a year your employer will be paying your pension premiums for a year. If you still work for AUB after a year, you will pay yourself 4% of your gross remuneration as your pension premiums , and your employer will pay for you 8% of your gross remuneration as your pension premiums. If you take leave, your pension entitlement does not expire. The 26 weeks that you have worked for will remain valid if you do not leave for longer than a year. DO NOT FORGET THAT WHEN YOU TURN 65, YOU HAVE TO CALL US IN HOLLAND AND REMIND US ABOUT YOUR PENSION ENTITLEMENT. That is why you have to keep your STIP documents carefully. There is a phone number and address on the documents.

If you you terminate your work at AUB van Bergen bv or BergPak bv or you go back to your home country, you may apply for an E301 Form.

The E301 Form is used to specify where you have worked so far and you can use it in contact with different offices/institutions of the home country.

One can apply for a certificate of a work record in the last 5 years.

If you want to be provided with an E301 Form, fill in the E301 Form two weeks before you leave and give it to your foreman. They will take care of the form and the application and submit them to our administration office.

Social Security Services for Employees in Holland [UWV] in Hengelo shall check where you have worked so far. After filling in the particulars they will send the certificate to your home address. Van Bergen company shall not be held responsible for improper entry of the address.

If you are a student and you work during your holidays only, please provide us with a document from your communal council certifying that you are a student. After your arrival in Holland, please hand it over to Monika. She will make a copy of it. Thus, you will pay a smaller amount of tax and receive a higher net remuneration. DO NOT FORGET TO BRING THE FORM AND YOUR STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARD WITH YOU.

If you work in Holland, you have to pay taxes in Holland. By the end of the year you may recover this tax. Van Bergen Personeelsdiensten can arrange this for you cost is € 75.

We can also deal with your application for family benefits for 2009. The cost is € 75 including VAT for the first application. If the Dutch Social Insurance Bank has any further questions or any additional information is required after the submitting of your data, you will be billed separately for this. The cost is € 30 for every half an hour.

We can also deal with your application for health allowances for 2009. The cost is € 75 including VAT.

If you take with you any equipment which does not meet the Dutch fire regulations and if you use it in the living quarters and/or in rooms where its use is prohibited and thus it will constitute a threat for your flatmates, we will remove this equipment and destroy it. If any damage results from such use, you will be held responsible and all possible costs will be deducted from your net remuneration!!!!

Van Bergen Personeelsdiensten and its branches cannot be held responsible for any loss and/or damage (caused by water) to personal belongings in the living quarters. Your personal belongings can be insured before your departure from the country that you come from.

We would like to find out whether you still want to be registered with us. If you do not contact us, and we are not able to contact you, we will delete your name from our register.
